Better Process Control School

The FAPC offers Better Process Control School to provide certification to supervisors on thermal processing systems, acidification and container closure evaluation programs.

In compliance with mandatory USDA and FDA regulations for the prevention of health problems from low-acid and acidified canned foods, the FAPC offers Better Process Control School to provide certification to supervisors on thermal processing systems, acidification and container closure evaluation programs.

The training is an ongoing joint effort of the FDA and the Oklahoma State Department of Health, in cooperation with the FAPC to assist Oklahoma processors in complying with existing regulations.

  • Cost - $650 - whole conference (3 days); $550 - acidified foods only (first 2 days) - A $25 fee will be charged to those who fail to cancel or attend.
