Event Applications

CASNR Week | The CASNR Student Council hosts CASNR Week annually each spring semester. This week-long event serves as a celebration of the students, faculty and staff in the college and as a way to commemorate the history, activity and impact of CASNR on the OSU campus. CASNR Week is dedicated to recognizing the efforts of the more than 60 clubs and competitive teams within the college through special events and activities held throughout the week. This year CASNR week will be held March 25-29, 2019.

CASNR Outstanding Club | Apply to be recognized as CASNR's Outstanding Club of the year! Download the 2019 Outstanding Club Application - Due March 14.

Co-Sponsorship | When a club has an upcoming event or is in need of additional funding, co-sponsorships are available in the maximum amount of $250.

Executive Team Applications

If you want the opportunity to make a difference in CASNR, apply to serve as an officer for the CASNR Student Council. Available positions include: President, Vice President of Business Affairs, Vice President of Student Affairs and CASNR Student Spokesperson.

President & Vice President | The responsibilities of each office in this category deal specifically with presiding over certain meetings and committees within the council. The application and selection process occur during the spring semester. Download the 2019 Executive Application (President, VP of Business Affairs or VP of Student Affairs) - Due March 14.

Secretary, Reporter, and Assistant Treasurer | The responsibilities of each office in this category deal with keeping accurate records of meetings, promoting activities of the organization, and working with the treasurer to keep track of the council's budget and finances. These officers will be elected during the Full Council meeting during CASNR Week. Download the 2019 Application for Secretary, Reporter, or Assistant Treasurer - Due March 14.

Spokesperson | The Student Spokesperson shall be responsible for chairing CASNR Week and all activities sponsored during this week in the spring semester. They shall be responsible for planning and coordinating a President's Roundtable at the end of each semester. They shall serve as the representative of the CASNR Student Council. Freshman & Transfer Representatives | Freshmen and Transfer Representatives are selected to help coordinate the activities sponsored by the CASNR Student Council. They attend all of the executive meetings as well as CASNR Student Full Council meetings. They also are placed under an executive as an intern in order to learn the roles of that position and help the executive in various ways. Some of the activities that they will participate in include CASNR Roundup, college homecoming activities, CASNR Week, and the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Scholarship Banquet. Freshmen and Transfer Representatives learn first hand about the CASNR Student Council and how it operates throughout the school year. The application and selection process occurs in the fall semester.

Public Relations Committee | Members of the Public Relations Committee will be responsible for assisting the CASNR Student Council Reporter plan and organize CASNR’s participation in university functions such as homecoming, and CASNR Week, as well as other events throughout the year. Additionally, committee members will be expected to be proficient in both written and oral communication skills. The application and selection process occurs in the fall semester.

Internal Affairs | The purposes of the Internal Affairs Committee shall be to conduct the regular and special elections of the CASNR Student Association, review the standing documentation of the Association, evaluate the performance of the officers of the Executive Council, monitor the standing of the clubs recognized by the Executive Council, and investigate those complaints brought to its attention by any member of the Association. The application and selection process occurs in the fall semester.
