OSU Alumni Association inducting Congressman Frank D. Lucas into the OSU Hall of Fame

STILLWATER, Oklahoma (Jan. 26, 2018) – The Oklahoma State University Alumni Association is installing four new members into the prestigious OSU Hall of Fame. Congressman Frank D. Lucas, a Cheyenne native, will be inducted at a ceremony Friday, Feb. 9, at the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center.

Clary recognized for completion of Food Systems Leadership Institute Executive Leadership Program

STILLWATER, Okla. – Already a proven university leader, Cynda Clary, associate dean in Oklahoma State University’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, is always trying to improve. She was recently recognized for doing just that as she completed the Food Systems Leadership Institute Executive Leadership Program. This accomplishment was celebrated at the annual meeting of the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities in Washington, D.C.

Finish what you start: OSU graduate walks across stage 48 years after earning degree

Jerry Ott, a humble family man who uses words like honor, respect, responsibility and service, has worn many hats over the years. However, the educator, administrator, veteran and 1970 graduate of Oklahoma State University had on a new type of cap Dec. 16. While he completed his requirements for his bachelor’s degrees in vocational agriculture and agronomy in the fall of 1969, his opportunity to walk across the stage was taken away when learned he was going to be drafted into the military.
