- Oklahoma State University has announced the inaugural members of the new Oklahoma State Scholars Society, the university’s premier scholar development program that offers major financial support and broad scholarly opportunities to top-performing in-state students.

- Sabra Billups, a food science graduate student, has won the $2,000 grand prize in the third annual Oklahoma State University President’s Fellows Grand Three Minute Challenge (3MC).
- FAPC honors two graduate students with Gilliland Memorial Fellowship
- Oklahoma State University’s Robert M. Kerr Food & Agricultural Products Centered honored two graduate students with the Stanley E. Gilliland Memorial Fellowship in Food Science, providing $500 toward each recipient’s education efforts. Praveen Yerramsetti, a doctoral candidate in food science, and Audrey Boeken, a food science master’s student, received the awards during a reception on April 6.
- Undergraduate Research Program elevates OSU’s agriculture programs
- Graduate students across the globe conduct research, compile their findings, crunch the data and write their papers. Oftentimes, before they take that plunge into the research world, they do not understand what they are getting into. This is true, too, for students at Oklahoma State University. However, thanks to a collaboration between OSU’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources and the Oklahoma Agricultural Experiment Station, undergraduate students can get a taste of research before committing the next couple years of their lives to science.
