Weeks honored with Award for Excellence in Teaching
Penny Weeks, professor in the department of agricultural education, communications and leadership at Oklahoma State University, was recognized with the Award for Excellence in Teaching at this spring’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Scholarships and Awards Banquet. The award recognizes and promotes exceptional teaching by a CASNR faculty member.
Wilson honored with Excellence in Graduate Student Advising and Mentoring Award
Gail Wilson, Sarkeys Distinguished Professor in the department of natural resource ecology and management at Oklahoma State University, was recognized with the Excellence in Graduate Student Advising and Mentoring Award at this spring's College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Scholarships and Awards Banquet. The award recognizes and promotes exceptional graduate advising and mentoring.
Riley honored with Early Career Award for Excellence in Teaching
John Michael Riley, assistant professor in the department of agricultural economics at Oklahoma State University, was recognized with the Early Career Award for Excellence in Teaching at this spring’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Scholarships and Awards Banquet. The award recognizes and promotes exceptional teaching by a faculty member with less than five years of experience in higher education teaching.
Oklahoma State University announces inaugural members of new scholar society
Oklahoma State University has announced the inaugural members of the new Oklahoma State Scholars Society, the university’s premier scholar development program that offers major financial support and broad scholarly opportunities to top-performing in-state students. Two CASNR students, Amanda Bolinger and Ashley Howard, were named as members of this prestigious society.
