Course Highlights
- Specially designed for students interested in learning more about biology, biodiversity, biotechnology, and the economic impact of insect pests on animals and plants
- Learn about the eradication of the screwworm fly in North and Central America
- Visit the only screwworm sterile fly production facility in the world and learn about the production, dispersing, and monitoring methods of sterile flies
- Visit Barro Colorado Island, part of the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute, the only unit of the Smithsonian institution outside of the United States
- Network with faculty and students from the University of Panama
- Learn about the agriculture industry in Panama, visit the Panama Canal, tour archaeological sites and enjoy a beautiful beach!

- AG 3803 International Study Tour in Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources: Panama (3 credit hours with I designation*)
*Undergraduate students at Oklahoma State University are required to take a class that carries an I designation for graduation purposes

- Course Program Fee= $2,000 (includes round trip flight Houston-Panama City/ Panama City-Houston, lodging, in country transportation, admission/entrance fees and most meals)
- Domestic flight (if applicable)
- Course Tuition= $897 (check with the OSU Financial Aid Office for cost of trip and with waivers)
- Personal Expenses= ~$200 (suggested)
