Israel
Course Highlights
History spanning the Canaanite period to Israelite, Muslim, and Christian periods comes alive as you walk the ancient streets of Jerusalem, the modern agricultural fields of the Jezreel Valley, the ancient olive trees in Garden of Gethsemane, and the shores of the Sea of Galilee. The agriculture of Israel utilizes some of the most advanced irrigation in the world while maintaining some of the oldest known production methods. We will visit major biblical sites throughout Jerusalem and Galilee. Students will participate in a supervised, active archaeology dig.
