AGEC4803 International Agricultural Economics Tour: Approximate Travel dates, 2 weeks between May 12- June 2, 2020.

Course Highlights

Earn college credit in AGEC 3803 for a trip to Beijing, China. The trip will include visits to Great Wall, Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Temple of Heaven, other historical sites, and sessions about Chinese cultural activities and visits with students at China Agriculture University, and other adventures.

 

Course Options*

  • AG 3803: International Study Tour in Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources: China (3 credit hours with I designation*)
  • AGEC 5990: Advanced Studies (3 credit hours graduate level)

 

*Undergraduate students at Oklahoma State University are required to take a class that carries an I designation for graduation purposes

*Enrollment in the course is by instructor's permission and requires an application. Preparation for the course includes 1-2 mandatory orientation meetings prior to departure of trip. Departmental scholarships are available on a competitive basis for AGEC/AGBU students.

Estimated Cost

Costs for the trip are subject to change and will depend on specific itinerary and number of students participating, but will include the following:

  • Trip Fee: $1,500
  • Airfare: $1,500
  • Tuition: $897
  • Meals, Incidentals: $200-$500
