Food Security through Post-Harvest Loss Mitigation in Sub-Saharan Africa

Course Highlights

  • Visit local farms, agricultural research institute, and NGO of women in agriculture, local Maasai farms, Bank of Tanzania in Zanzibar.
  • Visit local sites such as Lake Eyasu, Ngorongoro Crater and Mto Wa Mbu village.
  • Enjoy a safari, people and culture on this two week trip!

Course Options

  • AG 3803: International Study Tour in Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources: Tanzania (3 credit hours with I designation*)
  • ENTO 5020: Special Problems (graduate level independent study)

 

*Undergraduate students at Oklahoma State University are required to take a class that carries an I designation for graduation purposes

Estimated Cost

  • Program Fee: $3,975 (Cost covers: international flights, hotels, all breakfasts and dinner, some lunches, tour guides, safari, entrances fees, all in country transportation, organization visits, ad cultural activities.
