Studens to prep for Career Fair in "At the Movies" atmosphere
Oklahoma State University students can enjoy an “At the Movies” atmosphere complete with popcorn, candy and soda while preparing for the upcoming Agricultural, Food, Environmental and Natural Sciences Career Fair. “Career Fair: At the Movies” will be held Thurs., Sept. 3 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in 103 Agriculture Hall.
Additionally, a selection of Career Fair organizations will be part of the event providing the chance for students to learn about companies prior to Career Fair in a fun, relaxed setting.
Throughout the evening, students can take advantage of many opportunities to learn about employers and practice effective networking skills.
“Career Fair: At the Movies” will prepare students for their moment in the spotlight,” said Amy Gazaway, CASNR student success coordinator.
Special features of the event include: resume critiques for “rave reviews,” rehearsing “career fair lines,” and researching “the theme,” “the set” and “the cast” of organizations online.
The Agricultural, Food, Environmental and Natural Sciences Career Fair will be held Thurs., Sept. 10 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. in Gallagher-Iba Arena.
