Two CASNR students received an Honors Award, the highest honor given to undergraduates, during the OSU Honors College hooding ceremony in December.

Students were hooded by representatives from their specific college to symbolize the prestigious honor. They also had the opportunity to wear their hood with normal graduation regalia at the OSU commencement ceremony.

The Honors Award designates the completion of all the Honors College Degree requirements with a minimum grade point average of 3.5. Additional awards earned by the Honors College students include General Honors Award and a Departmental or College Honors Award.

The CASNR students honored are listed below along with their degree and awards:

Brooke Elmore from Guthrie, Okla., majored in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and received the General Honors Award.

Daniel Huff from Oklahoma City, Okla., majored in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and received the Departmental Honors Award and the General Honors Award.
