OSU Agricultural, Food, Environmental and Natural Sciences Career Fair to connect students, employers
Oklahoma State University students will have an opportunity to explore career options, meet industry professionals and make connections for internships and full-time jobs at the Fall 2015 Agricultural, Food, Environmental and Natural Sciences Career Fair. The event will be held Thurs., Sept. 10 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. in Gallagher-Iba Arena.
More than 80 organizations are registered to participate in the event, hosted by the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Career Services office. Included are publicly and privately owned corporations, non-profit and government agencies, as well as graduate programs.
“CASNR students have impressive knowledge and experience related to agriculture, food and environmental and natural sciences, and each year, we are eager for the opportunity to match the skills of our students with the needs of employers,” said Amy Gazaway, CASNR student success coordinator. “There is something for everyone at Career Fair. Students across all majors and ages can explore career options, begin their internship and job search endeavors or consider post graduate degree programs.”
The event is open to students of all majors and classifications. Gazaway said more than 1,000 students from across the university attend each year.
Additionally, a selection of Career Fair organizations will be part of “Career Fair: At the Movies” on Thurs., Sept. 3 from 5 to 8 p.m. in 101 Ag Hall. This educational event provides an opportunity for students to learn about employers prior to Career Fair.
