Oklahoma State University’s Department of Agricultural Education, Communications and Leadership students brought home top honors from the National Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow Critique and Contest at the Ag Media Summit in Scottsdale, Arizona.

OSU students received more awards than any other university in the contest, students submitted a variety of communications projects including photography, feature stories, graphic design pieces and news releases. The OSU Chapter also won first place for the Yamaha ACT Scholarship program, awarding the chapter $1,500 in travel money for Ag Media Summit.

“There is nothing more exciting than watching students succeed,” said Shelly Sitton, agricultural communications professor and ACT advisor. “These awards are a testament to the quality of students that we are so proud to have in OSU agricultural communications.”
