Five CASNR seniors receive top honors from the Alumni Association
Five seniors from the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources have been named 2017 Outstanding Seniors by the Oklahoma State University Alumni Association.
The Outstanding Senior award recognizes seniors who excel through academic achievement; campus and community activities; academic, athletic or extra-curricular honors or awards; scholarships and work ethic during their time at OSU.
The College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources honorees with their hometowns and majors are:
Allison Christian, Duncan, Okla., agricultural economics and agribusiness
Dillon Johnson, Afton, Okla., agribusiness and plant & soil sciences
Garrett Reed, Locust Grove, Okla., agribusiness and pre-law
Ricki Schroeder, Kremlin, Okla., agribusiness and agricultural leadership
Jason Wetzler, Clackamac, Oregon, agricultural education
Sixteen seniors were chosen to receive the award by the OSU Alumni Association Student Awards and Selection Committee after it met with the 43 Seniors of Significance selected in the fall of 2016 and reviewed their applications.
A public banquet honoring the Outstanding Seniors was held April 27 at 6 p.m. at the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center in Stillwater. This program is sponsored by ISN.
