CASNR Week Brings Students Together in Celebration

The College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources at Oklahoma State University will be hosting CASNR Week, Apr. 6-9. The annual event serves as a celebration of the students, faculty and staff in the college and as a way to commemorate the history, activity and impact of CASNR on the OSU campus.

STILLWATER, Okla.—The College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources at Oklahoma State University will be hosting CASNR Week, Apr. 6-9. The annual event serves as a celebration of the students, faculty and staff in the college and as a way to commemorate the history, activity and impact of CASNR on the OSU campus.

Organized by the CASNR Student Council, CASNR Week is dedicated to recognizing the efforts of the more than 60 clubs and competitive teams within the college through special events and activities held throughout the week.

“CASNR Week is the college’s opportunity to shine and showcase the incredible students we have in the college,” said Katie Lippolt, the CASNR Student Council student spokesperson. “This week is a pivotal long-standing tradition within CASNR.”

The week’s events include:

  • Monday - Sign competition; front lawn of Agricultural Hall
    - Cookout; 11:30 a.m., Agricultural Hall first floor lobby
  • Tuesday - Annual CASNR dodge ball tournament; 5 p.m., Animal Science arena
  • Wednesday - Ag Day on the Lawn; 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., International Mall (south side of the Noble Research Center)
  • Thursday - CASNR Banquet; 6 p.m., Wes Watkins Center
