More than 40 Oklahoma State University alumni, faculty and staff recently participated in the Division of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources’ Access Tour. The annual two-day tour gets its name from the behind-the-scenes access it gives participants to agricultural and natural resources businesses in the state.

The DASNR Access Tour is organized annually by the CASNR Alumni Board and sponsored by several businesses throughout the state. The 2016 DASNR Access Tour showcased businesses in Pottawatomie, Marshall, Bryan and Payne counties, including Shawnee Milling in Shawnee; the Marshall County Cooperative Extension Office and Expo, Oklahoma Steel and Wire, Mid American Steel and Wire, Moore Horse Ranch, Summit Whitetail Ranch and Landgraf Farms in Madill; Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation in Ardmore; Top Notch Turf Inc. in Calera; Cardinal Glass in Durant; and Iron Monk Brewing Co. in Stillwater.

The CASNR Alumni Board also oversees the recognition of the annual CASNR Early Career Award recipients, hosts the CASNR Gala, a reunion event for CASNR alumni, and hosts CASNR Roundup, a back-to-school event for CASNR students. To learn more, visit casnr.okstate.edu/alumni.
