This symposium is designed to showcase the research talents of graduate degree candidates to prospective employers. Participation in the symposium is open to all graduate students who are expected to graduate in 2017 from certified universities doing advanced research in the areas of food and agricultural chemistry.

The application package must include the following items:

1. Cover letter with resume/CV
2. Complete college/graduate school transcripts
3. Two‐page summary of the degree research
4. Letters of recommendation from 2 major degree professors (one letter preferably from the graduate advisor)
5. A 250‐word abstract of the proposed oral presentation (The abstract should be entered via the ACS MAPS On‐line System)
