Undergraduate Research Video Competition

Research is a vital part of the mission here at OSU, and some of the most exciting research experiences and outcomes occur when undergraduate students become actively involved in research, usually working closely alongside faculty and/or graduate students. We want to hear those exciting stories! So we are inviting submissions of brief videos that respond to the prompt: ‘Undergraduate research changed my _____________!’

Research is a vital part of the mission here at OSU, and some of the most exciting research experiences and outcomes occur when undergraduate students become actively involved in research, usually working closely alongside faculty and/or graduate students. We want to hear those exciting stories! So we are inviting submissions of brief videos that respond to the prompt:

‘Undergraduate research changed my _____________!’

If involvement in undergraduate research has changed something important for you (your major, your career path, your decision for how to spend your summers, etc.), please tell your story in a brief video and share it with us. We plan to use as many of the submissions as possible in telling the exciting story of research at OSU, so you might just get your 15 minutes of fame. And, on top of that, you might just win one of the prizes!

The competition has categories for submissions from undergraduate students, from graduate students, and from faculty. Please see the specific eligibility and submission details. Don’t miss the November 1 submission deadline.

Wow us! Make us laugh! Make us cry! But most of all, allow us to share in your story of the power of undergraduate research.
