Congressman Frank Lucas has represented Oklahoma's Third Congressional District since 1994. The Third District is one of the most culturally, socially and ethnically diverse in the nation. It includes portions of the 32 counties and stretches from Oklahoma's panhandle across to Osage County in Northeast Oklahoma and down to Jackson County in Southwest Oklahoma. The Third Congressional district takes up almost half the state's land mass.

Congressman Lucas is a fifth generation Oklahoman whose family has lived and farmed in western Oklahoma for over 100 years. He operates a farm and cattle ranch in Roger Mills county in far western Oklahoma where he lives with his wife, Lynda. He graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1982 with a degree in Agricultural Economics.

Congressman Lucas serves on three U.S. House Committees: the House Agriculture Committee, the House Committee on Financial Services and the House Committee on Science and Technology.
