Outreach & Distance Learning
The Division of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (DASNR) Outreach Program disseminates credit and noncredit courses in agricultural sciences, natural resources, agricultural education, communication, leadership, economics, horticulture, agricultural production and marketing, and related areas to the people of Oklahoma, the nation and the world. Credit outreach courses are primarily delivered using distance technologies to working professionals, agricultural businesses, industries, nonprofit organizations, commodity group members, governmental agencies, educators and others who can benefit both personally and professionally.

- AG*IDEA Consortium Courses
AG*IDEA, an affiliate of the Great Plains IDEA, is a national consortium of universities offering programs and courses in agriculture disciplines. Several Ferguson College of Agriculture departments offer courses through AG*IDEA, including: - Agricultural Education
- Animal Science
- Natural Resources Ecology & Management (Grassland Management Graduate Certificate Program)
NOTE: A Graduate Assistantship does not cover the tuition for courses offered through the AG*IDEA Consortium program.
- Alliance for Cooperative Course Exchange in the Plant Sciences (ACCEPtS) Courses
ACCEPtS is a program between the University of Arkansas, Louisiana State University, Mississippi State University and Oklahoma State University to share undergraduate and graduate courses in the plant agricultural sciences. Courses are offered online.
NOTE: A Graduate Assistantship does not cover the tuition for courses offered through the ACCEPtS program.
