CASNR undergrads awarded Wentz scholarships and research grants

Due to the generosity of the Lew Wentz Foundation, 71 Oklahoma State University undergraduates representing every college on the Stillwater campus will receive a total of $228,500 in financial aid for the 2015-16 academic year. Of these students, 18 are enrolled in the OSU College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources. The Henry Bellmon Office of Scholar Development and Undergraduate Research coordinated the competitive selection process for Wentz awards with the help of OSU faculty and staff.

OSU Agricultural Communications Students Excel at National Contest

Oklahoma State University’s Department of Agricultural Education, Communications and Leadership students brought home top honors from the National Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow Critique and Contest at the Ag Media Summit in Scottsdale, Arizona.

CASNR students named to 2015-16 President's Leadership Council

Oklahoma State University has named 126 incoming freshmen to its President's Leadership Council for the 2015-2016 academic year. Of these students, 24 are enrolled in the OSU College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources. President’s Leadership Council is a freshmen scholarship and academic leadership program that emphasizes the importance of leadership and service throughout life.

OSU alumnus earns national philanthropy award

(COLLEGE STATION, Texas) – Dennis White recently earned national recognition for more than 30 years of generous support for Oklahoma State University. On June 18, the National Agricultural Alumni and Development Association named Dennis as the Ruby C. McSwain Outstanding Philanthropist Award winner.
