Undergraduate Niblack scholars jump-start science careers

- The Niblack Research Scholars program at Oklahoma State University has opened the doors of cutting-edge research for undergraduates for more than a decade. This year, 4 CASNR undergraduate students are receiving $8,000 scholarships and the opportunity to conduct supervised research as 2015-16 Niblack Research Scholars.

- For the second consecutive year, Bailey Norwood, professor in the department of agricultural economics for the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources at Oklahoma State University, will be conducting an online journey connecting agricultural science and the food people eat.

CASNR professor recognized for excellence in education

- A CASNR professor at Oklahoma State University is being recognized for his contributions to higher education. Lou Anella, ornamentals professor in OSU’s Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture, and director of The Botanic Garden at OSU, has been named the recipient of the 2015 Excellence in Education Award by the Irrigation Foundation.

Thirteen CASNR students selected as OSU Seniors of Significance

- Thirteen CASNR students have been selected as Oklahoma State University Seniors of Significance for the 2015-2016 academic year by the OSU Alumni Association. The Seniors of Significance Award recognizes students who have excelled in scholarship, leadership and service to the campus and community and brought distinction to OSU.
