2019-2020 Legislative Internship in Agriculture
The Legislative Internship in Agriculture is designed to provide the intern with a working knowledge of the structure and operational procedures of Oklahoma state government and to observe and evaluate firsthand the opportunities of a career in politics or public service. Completed applications must be submitted to 136 Ag Hall no later than 5:00 pm on Thursday, October 24, 2019. Finalists will be interviewed.

Latinos in Agriculture Conference Scholarship
The Latinos in Agriculture Leaders Conference will provide a forum to bring together industry, education, government, and future leaders (students) to continue the dialog in exploring ways to improve Latino representation in Agriculture and related industries. The scholarship will cover the expenses of the conference aside form the cost to travel to Grapevine, Texas. The application is due September 18. The conference is set for October 16-18.

Applications are available for students interested in applying for the Harry S. Truman Scholarship. The Harry S. Truman Scholarship was created by Congress for those who intend to pursue careers in public service, defined as employment in government at any level, uniformed services, public-interest organizations, nongovernmental research and/or educational organizations, public and private schools, and public service oriented non-profit organizations.

The American floral Endowment (AFE) is now accepting applications for the new Altman Family Scholarship, and the Paul Ecke, Jr. Scholarship, for graduate students who have the skills and passion to become leading floricultural scientists and educators. National Collegiate Landscape Competition
Since it’s inception in 1998, the National Association of Landscape Professionals Foundation has generously rewarded students whose schools have been actively involved in the National Association of Landscape Professionals. CASNR Continuing Student Scholarship Application
The College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources and its academic departments award more than $1.4 million in scholarships to incoming freshmen, transfer students and continuing students enrolled in the college. College-level and departmental scholarships in CASNR use a common online scholarship application. Applications are due Jan. 15.
