Oklahoma Agricultural Leadership Encounter
The Oklahoma Agricultural Leadership Encounter is a program designed to expand the knowledge of the Agricultural Industry in Oklahoma for today's young adults. Expansion and extension of the educational component of the Oklahoma Junior Livestock Program through production agriculture, is a major goal of the Oklahoma Youth Expo board of directors and staff. It is only through a stronger concentration on education that future leaders are developed.

CASNR Student Council Application
CASNR Student Council is the “student government” of the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, and comprised of two branches. The Executive branch is made up of 11 executives. The Representative of CASNR Student Council is made up of representatives selected by each of the clubs/organizations within the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources. The CASNR Student Council executives coordinate many of the club/organization activities throughout the year. Freshmen and Transfer Representatives are selected to help coordinate the activities sponsored by the CASNR Student Council. They attend all of the executive meetings as well as CASNR Student Full Council meetings. They also are placed under an executive as an intern in order to learn the roles of that position and help the executive in various ways.

CASNR Student Council Internal Affairs Application
The purposes of the Internal Affairs Committee shall be to conduct the regular and special elections of the CASNR Student Association, review the standing documentation of the Association, evaluate the performance of the officers of the Executive Council, monitor the standing of the clubs recognized by the Executive Council, and investigate those complaints brought to its attention by any member of the Association.

CASNR Student Council Public Relations Committee
Members of the Public Relations Committee will be responsible for assisting the CASNR Student Council Reporter plan and organize CASNR’s participation in university functions such as homecoming, and CASNR Week, as well as other events throughout the year. Additionally, committee members will be expected to be proficient in both written and oral communication skills.

Undergraduate Research Video Competition
Research is a vital part of the mission here at OSU, and some of the most exciting research experiences and outcomes occur when undergraduate students become actively involved in research, usually working closely alongside faculty and/or graduate students. We want to hear those exciting stories! So we are inviting submissions of brief videos that respond to the prompt: ‘Undergraduate research changed my _____________!’

Legislative Internship in Agriculture
The Legislative Internship in Agriculture is designed to provide the intern with a working knowledge of the structure and operational procedures of Oklahoma state government and to observe and evaluate firsthand the opportunities of a career in politics or public service. Completed applications can be submitted to 136 AG Hall by 5 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2015. Finalists will be interviewed.

AFA Policy Institute
Each March, Agriculture Future of America hosts 40 outstanding college men and women in Washington, D.C., for the AFA Policy Institute. This program connects students to their legislative representatives and the policy process. Applications are due November 30 and selected students will be in Washington, D.C. March 13-16, 2016.
