Mike Thralls Memorial Scholarship
The Oklahoma Association of Conservation Districts is proud to announce that applications are now being accepted for the first annual "Mike Thralls Memorial Scholarship." Thralls was an unwavering steward of the land who loved Oklahoma and was committed to preserving her natural resources. Thralls was a graduate of Oklahoma State University who went on to serve as Oklahoma Assistant Secretary of Agriculture and Executive Director of the Oklahoma Conservation Commission. In his memory, OACD will be awarding two $500 scholarships beginning in February 2016.

Applications are available for students interested in applying for the Morris K. and Stewart L. Udall Scholarship. The Morris K. and Stewart L. Udall Scholarship was created by Congress to honor Congressman Morris K. Udall and later to include Stewart L. Udall and to award students with career aspirations related to the environment and sustainability.

The Achafoa Chapter of Mortar Board is proud to select the Top Ten Freshmen Men and Women of the Fall 2016 – Spring 2017 school year. Mortar Board chooses the Top Ten Freshmen Men and Women to recognize outstanding scholarship, leadership, and service. Selection consists of an application and interview process and is based upon scholastic achievement, leadership and participation in campus activities, and service to the campus and community.

National Collegiate Landscape Competition
Since it’s inception in 1998, the National Association of Landscape Professionals Foundation has generously rewarded students whose schools have been actively involved in the National Association of Landscape Professionals.
