Mike Thralls Memorial Scholarship
The Oklahoma Association of Conservation Districts is proud to announce that applications are now being accepted for the third annual "Mike Thralls Memorial Scholarship." Thralls was an unwavering steward of the land who loved Oklahoma and was committed to preserving her natural resources. Thralls was a graduate of Oklahoma State University who went on to serve as Oklahoma Assistant Secretary of Agriculture and Executive Director of the Oklahoma Conservation Commission. In his memory, OACD will be awarding two $500 scholarships in April 2019.

Lallemand Animal Nutrition Forward Scholarship
For the fifth consecutive year, Lallemand Animal Nutrition will offer five Lallemand Forward Scholarships for students pursuing degrees in agriculture. The 2019 program offers two $2,500 undergraduate scholarships, one $3,000 Doctor of Veterinary Medicine scholarship, one $3,000 master’s program scholarship and one $3,000 doctoral scholarship. Applications are open to students in the United States, Mexico and Canada.

2019 Farm Credit Associations of Oklahoma Scholarship
The Farm Credit Associations of Oklahoma Scholarship program provides financial assistance for Oklahoma State University junior and senior students pursuing any area of study in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources. Up to five $1,000 scholarships will be awarded.

2019 College Aggies Online Scholarship Competition
College students are gearing up for the Animal Agriculture Alliance’s annual College Aggies Online (CAO) Scholarship Competition. This year’s students and collegiate clubs are competing for more than $21,000 in scholarships and a chance to win a trip to the Alliance’s 2020 Stakeholders Summit.

FAPC Food Product Innovation Competition
The Food Product Innovation Competition will take place Nov. 5 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at FAPC and will foster creative research, idea development, product and process development, and commercialization potential and evaluation.

Syngenta Accelerating a Generation Scholarship
Syngenta is excited to announce the launch of the annual Accelerating a Generation (AG) Scholarship program, formerly known as the Syngenta Agricultural Scholarship program, which is available annually to university students nationwide. Students currently pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degrees in crop-related disciplines are eligible to apply. Students can apply to be considered for part of $20,000 in available awards by completing a two-step process. First, they must complete an initial application form, found on the scholarship website. Within a week of completing the form, students will receive a link via email inviting them to submit a 2–5-minute video essay. Initial application forms must be completed by January 7, 2019. Video submissions will be accepted through January 15.

National Corn Growers Association William C. Berg Academic Excellence in Agriculture Scholarship
Five $1,500 scholarships are available to undergraduate college students. The five scholarship winners will be invited to visit and tour a BASF facility in 2020 and meet with key staff. Dates and details of the trip are still being developed. BASF will notify the winners directly.
