The College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources has a digital signage system intended to inform current students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends about CASNR programs, events and services that might be beneficial to them.

Usage of the system for promotional purposes is available to CASNR academic departments and OSU Campus Life recognized student organizations.

CASNR has five TV monitors located in three buildings.

• Agricultural Hall First Floor Lobby
• Agricultural Hall Second Floor Lobby
• Animal Science Main Lobby
• Noble Research Center First Floor
• Noble Research Center Third Floor

Advertising Opportunities

There are three ways to advertise on the digital signage:

• 8.5” x 11” Flyer
  • Flyers will be shown on all five CASNR monitors.
  • Artwork must be submitted in PDF or JPEG format and must be 8.5” wide x 11” tall (612 pixels wide x 792 pixels tall) and minimum 72 DPI.
  • Artwork needs to be submitted a minimum of three business days prior to the requested promotion start date (ex. Artwork submitted in the proper format on Monday will be added to the rotation by Thursday).
  • Artwork submitted on time and in the proper format will be displayed on the CASNR monitors for 10 business days maximum.
• Horizontal E-Graphic
  • E-Graphics will be shown on all five CASNR monitors.
  • Artwork must be submitted in PDF or JPEG format and must be 1280 pixels wide x 720 pixels tall) and minimum 72 DPI.
  • Artwork needs to be submitted a minimum of three business days prior to the requested promotion start date (ex. Artwork submitted in the proper format on Monday will be added to the rotation by Thursday).
  • Artwork submitted on time and in the proper format will be displayed on the CASNR monitors for 10 business days maximum.
• CASNR Calendar of Events
  • Information included in the CASNR Calendar of events on casnr.okstate.edu/events is automatically fed into an RSS feed-based calendar on the right side of the five CASNR monitors.
  • Event information must be submitted through the OSU calendar system at calendar.okstate.edu.
    NOTE: When entering event information select “Stillwater Campus >> DASNR >> CASNR” to ensure your event is posted on the CASNR calendar.
    
    

A group may advertise their event in one of the two offered locations (flyer, e-graphic). Inclusion of an event flyer/graphic in more than one location will require approval by the CASNR communications team (excludes CASNR Calendar of Events).

A group must be an officially recognized student organization by the office of campus life in order to submit events for inclusion in the CASNR Calendar of Events and/or featured on the TV monitors.

Scheduling

CASNR Communications will limit digital flyer advertising to 10 advertisements per location at a time. This provides the opportunity for each ad to be seen. Promotions will be accepted on a first come, first served basis with priority given to CASNR sponsored programs as well as university events.

While there is not a specific limit, the number of graphics posted on the TV monitors by a specific group will be monitored by the CASNR communications team. Because of the limit established per location (10 at a time) we want to ensure all groups and departments have the opportunity to utilize these resources.

Submissions

Submit artwork for inclusion on the TV monitors to casnrcommunications@okstate.edu.

NOTE: The CASNR Communications Team must approve the art and design of each flyer for quality purposes. We reserve the right to reject submissions.
